Chorus Auditions
Auditions for the chorus are held on a rolling basis throughout the year. No need to wait. Call the Symphony office at (616) 454-9451, Ext. 140. or email jherdegen@grsymphony.org to be placed on the chorus prospect list, receive further information on our auditions, and/or schedule an audition appointment.
Major audition events are held at the beginning, middle and end of the season when most of our new members join us.
A limited number of audition appointments are being made available for September 8, 2008. Gentleman, especially tenors, strongly encouraged.
Our 10 minute audition includes vocal exercises to test voice range and quality, tonal memory, rhythmic and melodic sight singing. This is a friendly audition. We do not require a “prepared” piece.
