Tickets start at $18. Season Tickets Still Available!

The season opens with extraordinary music and themes of scandal. The Rite of Spring caused near riots at its premiere 100 years ago, and Flaubert’s shocker, Madame Bovary, inspired the creation of a cello concerto world premiere.

Alexander L. Miller spent a full year composing his Madame Bovary Concerto for Cello and Orchestra. In addition to being commissioned by the Grand Rapids Symphony, the composition has been entered into ArtPrize 2013.
