Avner Dorman, a young composer already boasting 61 published works, was inspired by the Baroque music of Handel and Vivaldi when composing Concerto Grosso. Dorman's goal was to "look at baroque music through contemporary ears." Before hearing Dorman's neo-Baroque composition, get a sense of his inspiration with Handel's Concerto Grosso.

Avner Dorman, Composer

Avner Dorman’s music, you can see that it grows out of Handel, and of Bach and of Stravinsky. His music is just brilliant- colorful, virtuosic and fluid.
